The president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, has been speaking ahead of Sunday's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final, reports our correspondent Jay Harris from Ivory Coast. It's been a brilliant tournament, which prompted questions about the next one due to be held in Morocco in summer 2025 - although that would clash with FIFA's expanded Club World Cup.Here's what Motsepwe has said: "The AFCON in Morocco is going to be excellent, immensely successful. I will talk about more of that after Cote d’Ivoire."I was with the FIFA president yesterday (at the UEFA congress in Paris). There are a lot of competing events at the same time. It is indeed going to be around that time. We have got to accommodate other competitions. "The message for the people of Morocco, North Africa and Africa is that the AFCON next year is going to be an immense success and we will make further announcements in due course."You can follow Jay
