IndyCar president Jay Frye is the commissioner of the series he runs. Penske Entertainment CEO Mark Miles is frequently deployed as voice of the executives, which includes series owner Roger Penske.
"There's no doubt that we were in breach of the rules," said Josef Newgarden on Friday on the scandal that has shaken Team Penske to its core this week. Newgarden and teammates Scott McLaughlin and Will Power were penalized this week by the NTT IndyCar Series for illegally using their cars' overtake systems.
