together. the first one was in december 1998. so this one makes it so dangerous is because they re having to disconnect the ammonia lines under pressure. ammonia is toxic. if they get it on their suits, they have to stay out there until it evaporates because they can t bring it back inside the space station where you have four more members of the crew. they don t want to be breathing this. so they have to watch what they re doing. but so far everything is going perfectly. they re about a third of the way through the space walk. they have this failed ammonia pump unhooked. they re putting it on what they call the little cart which will run it down the backbone of this space station like a push cart or a railway, if you will. and, you know, this thing is longer than a football field. yeah. it s 330 feet long or so. so jay, this is already a long space walk. so if the unthinkable happens
