As reported on Wednesday, Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott, and Santana Garrett were released and there has been talk of more big releases coming very soon.
Former WWE Champion CM Punk has taken a shot at WWE over the releases likening the company to a blockbuster movie with a big budget but poor writters.
He tweeted in response to another:

This week’s WWE RAW on USA Network drew the lowest viewership in the history of the show.
The live Memorial Day edition of RAW, featuring Drew McIntyre defeating Kofi Kingston in the #1 contender’s main event, drew an average of 1.418 million viewers across the three-hour broadcast, according to Nielsen via PWTorch.
The drop is down by 12.5% from last week’s 1.621 million viewers.
The first hour drew 1.536 million viewers, the second hour drew 1.549 million viewers and the final hour drew 1.168 million viewers.
