Govt ‘Engineers, contractors point out lacunae’
Srinagar, Oct, 20 (KNS): In an ambitious attempt aimed at solving the drainage and sewerage problems of the two capital cities of the state, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has said the ‘Greater Srinagar’ project will be completed by September 2013.According to official sources, the 260 crore rupees projects for Jammu and Srinagar citieswill link and manage drainage from more than 90,000 households in the cities of Jammu and Srinagar.
The Greater Srinagar and Jammu projects, which had been taken up by the in year 2008, the government had earlier signed an agreement with National Building Construction Coporation for execution of the project.
