Prisoner accidentally released from ADC back in custody Updated Dec 15, 2020; PASCAGOULA, Mississippi A 21-year-old Pascagoula man accidentally released from the Jackson County Adult Detention Center is back in custody after being located in the St. Martin community. Jackson County Sheriff Mike Ezell said Javon Montreal King was released from the ADC around 6 p.m. Friday due to a “clerical error.” Ezell says an investigation is underway to determine exactly how King was released. King was originally arrested on Dec. 10, charged in Moss Point with shooting into a dwelling, two counts of possession of stolen firearms, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
