Texas weather woes affect Mexico as flow of natural gas slows
Residents of Ciudad Juárez are asked to conserve gas, and the supply to more than 100 maquiladoras is being suspended.

CIUDAD JUÁREZ, Mexico Residents and businesses in this sprawling border community were rationing natural gas Wednesday, heeding orders from the governor of Mexico’s largest state, Chihuahua, following Texas’ widespread power outages.
Juárez, across the Rio Grande from El Paso, has a population of 1.4 million and, like much of northern Mexico and Texas, is facing one of the coldest winters in memory.
