A Cumberland County father and son were jailed Wednesday after investigators allegedly seized more than two kilos of cocaine and nearly $100,000 from their home, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff s Office.
Javed Josue Acevedo-Ramos, 20, and his father, Martin Acevedo III, 40, are each charged with trafficking a controlled substance, the release said.
According to the release, the Cumberland County Sheriff s Office was working in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security, when a search warrant was served on the Acevedo home at 2647 Green Heron St.
Detectives seized approximately 2.124 kilograms of cocaine, two handguns, one assault rifle and nearly $100,000 in cash from the residence, the release said.
