Admissions to join military bodies open tomorrow

Doha: The Unified Standing Committee for the Selection of Candidates for Military Officers held its sixth meeting yesterday, headed by Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces H E Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem.
The meeting was also attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior and Commander of the Lekhwiya Force H E Major General Abdulaziz bin Faisal Al Thani, and Director General of Public Security H E Major General Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi, members of the committee and representatives of other military bodies in the country.

Doha: A number of officials and directors of departments at the Ministry of Interior affirmed that the Police College, since its inception, has demonstrated its excellence in graduating high-quality officers who are able to protect the security, implement the law, and establish justice with enlightened security thought.
In press statements on the sidelines of the college’s celebration of the graduation of the third batch of candidates students yesterday, officials praised the great efforts made by the college to be among the best international colleges and academies as it has become a distinct security edifice.
