It was Christmas day. A man who lives at the Wilson Mill Townhomes was taking out his trash when he heard a noise coming from inside the dumpster.  When he couldn t figure out where the noise was coming from he called police. Officers searched through the trash and found a black plastic bag with a blanket inside.

Fire department purchases mechanical CPR devices with CARES Act funding 12/17/20 10:21 PM Seymour Fire Chief Brad Lucas doesn’t take credit for the life-saving mechanical CPR devices the city was able to purchase recently even though they bear his name. Using allocated funds from the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the fire department has added not one, but three LUCAS 3 CPR Compression devices to its arsenal of emergency equipment. We just got them last week, Lucas said. It’s a really good tool to have in our tool box, but no they didn’t name it after me.
