Wyoming man busted with ecstacy, cocaine, hand gun, hollow point bullets in Bayonne

Gacel, 35, of Laramie, Wyoming, was charged with possession of narcotic paraphernalia with the intent to distribute, possession of prohibited hollow point bullets, possession of a large capacity magazine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a narcotic offense, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a firearm, certain persons not to possess weapons, two counts of possession of CDS, and two counts of possession of CDS with intent to distribute, according to Police Capt. Eric Amato. Gacel was taken into custody around 12:28 a.m. Friday morning from the area of 20th Street and Avenue C.

Officers visiting the convenience store on Avenue C were advised of a suspicious car that had been parked there for several hours around 12:30 a.m., Dec. 18, Bayonne Police Capt. Eric Amato said. The driver, identified as Jason M. Gacel, 35, of Laramie, Wisconsin, had an open beer container next to him, Amato said. Gacel refused to lower his window and repeatedly reached for the floor, refusing the officers commands to get out of the car, police said. He ultimately complied, and officers saw drug paraphernalia on the driver s side floor, Amato said.

Bayonne Police Arrest Wyoming Man on Weapons, Drugs Charges

December 19, 2020 at 4:51 PM BAYONNE, NJ- A Wyoming man was arrested by Bayonne Police Friday after he was discovered to be in possession of both drugs and a loaded weapon, police say. According to Captain Eric Amato, police were advised of a suspicious vehicle that had been parked at the 7-Eleven on Avenue C, for several hours. As officers made contact with the occupant, later identified as Jason M. Gacel, they observed an opened beer container next to him. Officers say that Gacel refused to lower his window and repeatedly reached for the floor before finally complying with orders to exit the vehicle.
