Like a homegrown Cirque du Soleil, members of the Flotsam River Circus poured their talents into a unique performance on the shores of the Mississippi River at Fort Madison.
“There's some aerial stuff, and it has people clowning, bits of magic and other circus tricks. But it's not at all a conventional circus,” he said. “There certainly are no trained animals. It's kind of a weird, slightly surreal show."
FLOTSAM River Circus is an international troupe of musicians, circus performers and puppeteers, who travel from place to place on a handmade raft, giving free performances in every town along
