It’s practically a given these days especially among millennials that people are going to snap a photo, even create a short film, to capture and share their food porn across myriad social-media platforms. One might argue that virtual food envy is more prevalent than ever thanks to the 2020 pandemic, which made takeout food the only way to make your consumption publicly conspicuous.
To that end, more and more restaurants are recognizing that memorable even interactive to-go containers can do more than boost brand awareness. They can also make you Insta-famous.
From witty slogans to brightly hued branded boxes, great packaging is becoming a viral phenomenon in itself. Think rainbow-colored macarons boxed up and delivered the same way you d pull the ribbon off a baby-blue Tiffany’s box. The packaging is as important as the product, making each customer part of a community of patrons, one memorable experience at a time.
SunStar Going to Carbon will be more than just going to the market
CEBU TO WORLD DEVELOPMENT. The seven-hectare property development, a venture between the Cebu City Government and Megawide Construction Corp. at no cost to the City, is a P5.5-billion, five-year project that begins in 2021. While Megawide will maintain the new development for at least 50 years, the Cebu City Government will retain ownership of the market and will continue to oversee its operations.
PUSO NIGHT MARKET. Designed like the puso (hanging rice), this night market is envisioned to open in the fourth quarter of 2021.
PHASE 1. The first phase of development covers six blocks: 1 and 2 will be the new Carbon Public Market, 3 the wholesaler market, 4 the lifestyle village, 5 the boqueria and 6 would be the airport in-city check-in facility and the 24/7 Puso market.
Cherenfant received his bachelors’ degree in nursing at UMass-Lowell before getting certified as a registered nurse
TAUNTON People always say in life to follow your dreams.
Taunton native Brian Cherenfant is currently doing just that, creating music.
“It is funny because even back in high school, you did not know I made music,” he said. “I had the school life, played a little football, and [was] doing track to be an RN [registered nurse]. But I always had this third life, I broke them into pieces. I always had them separate with the idea if I wanted to pursue music.”
