A truck driver, also a father-of-nine, was sleep-deprived, had meth in his system and was not wearing a seatbelt when he died after crashing into a dirt bank, a coroner has found.
Jason Steve Cooper, a father of eight, died after he crashed into a bank North Taranaki in June. A coroner found the 36-year-old was sleep deprived, ill, not wearing a seatbelt and had methamphetamine in his system.
