Local doctors provide primary health care weekly to Living Space clients SHARE ON: (flickr.com) Clients of the Living Space homeless shelter now have access to primary health care. Executive director Jason Sereda says starting Wednesday and every Wednesday afternoon, four local physicians will be seeing them at the Cedar Street North Shelter. “What it really is,” he explains, “is it’s connecting people with health care, so whether they need referrals to treatment, a physical examination or something as simple as they need their blood sugar tested.” (Bob McIntyre, MyTimminsNow.com staff) Sereda adds that if you remove conditions like mental illness, substance abuse and medical issues, people are less likely to remain homeless.
