‘Go Out Doors: Neighbors’ installed along Arlington bikeway

Artfully painted doors recently cropped up along Arlington s bikeway, and indeed, all the way through Battle Road into Metrowest, in a preview of a new collaborative regional public art exhibition, “Go Out Doors: Neighbors.”
An expansion of the Umbrella Art Center s Go Out Doors installation of artist-painted doors in West Concord s Bruce Freeman Rail Trail, “Go Out Doors: Neighbors” creates an extended regional public art tour along interconnected towns of Greater Boston and Metrowest.
Inspired in turn by NYC s en plein air exhibition on the High Line, “Go Out Doors: Neighbors” is meant to promote healthful outdoor activity, reconnection with nature and travel by bike and foot.
