jason: and we re back with texas congress congresswoman van duyne. congresswoman, in texas the house of representatives has impeached attorney general ken paxton. do you have any thoughts on the impeachment proceedings now9 with the attorney general in texas? yeah. look, i think a.g. paxon s done a fantastic job of representing the state of texas. i think he s been very aggressive at protecting not just, the, but the country s interest existence the biden administration s horrendous policies. he s being impeached, he s going to be investigated and, quite honestly, i m going to give him the benefit of the doubt, and i hope every texan does as well. you know, we live in a country where we are presumed innocent until proven if guilty, and this is what the state has chosen to do and, you know, again, i just think hea wonderful job for the state. jason: i also want to get your top-line thoughts on this debt
lap talking about how it s fewer numbers hand they actually thought, the fact is that we re still at historic numbers, and it s because the state of texas is taking such an aggressive approach at protecting our borders because of the biden administration policies. now, the house a couple of weeks ago passed a border bill that supports what local law enforcement is trying to do which brings back empowering of immigration and and customs enforcement to actually take criminal illegal aliens out of the country, to deport them, and also looks at technology and a number of other tools. so i think the federal government needs to get to the point of we need to secure our borders, and i thinkable the border bill is a great i think this border bill is a great start. jason: you know, it s always been a mystery to me why even though democrats claim, oh, we need come from prehencive immigration reform, but they don t introduce that, of course, when they have senate, the house and the presidency,
