SWEETWATER COUNTY Three Sweetwater County senior students were selected to receive the 2021 Board of Sweetwater County Commissioners Scholarship. Each scholarship is $1,000.
Those receiving the scholarships are Kelsi Angelovich of Green River, Isabella Spicer of Rock Springs, and Abby Hautala of Rock Springs.
In the event any of these students cannot accept the scholarship, such as attending a school outside Wyoming, the commissioners selected three alternate recipients.

The alternates, in order, are Emmalee Williams of Rock Springs, Sydney Ferrer of Green River, and Jason Richmond of Green River.
Chairman Randy Wendling congratulated the recipients, the alternates, and their parents, and wished all the students the best of luck in their post-secondary endeavors.

Little did she know how literal the flow would be. It came in the form of both water and songs as she and her husband navigated their home flooding six times in 13 months.
