A WOMAN from Blakedown was handed a hefty fine after she admitted driving well over the alcohol limit. Last month, 65-year-old Linda Green, of New Wood Lane, drove in Hagley with 108 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 micrograms. At Worcester Justice Centre on Tuesday (April 27) she was ordered to pay £1,225, which includes a £900 fine, costs of £135, and a £90 victim surcharge. She was also disqualified from driving for 24 months. In a separate case, Zennor McGuire, was handed a suspended sentence after she admitted driving over the limit on Cleobury Road, Far Forest, on Monday (April 26).
