It still has not been revealed how or where the worker was exposed. Reporter the chromalloy facility was shut down at 11 30 this morning and the Company Brought in experts to investigate. Reporter it will be a little while before we know the results. So far in new york city ten people have died and more than a hundred others have gotten sick. They all contracted the severe lung infection after breathing in particles contaminated with the bacteria. The City Health Department has identified several cooling towers as the source. The sites the city tested are being tested by the department of state. This is a constant coordinated effort. Were doing the testing for the city and will continue to coordinate. Reporter the state says todays testing was done in close coordination with the City Health Department and cdc. The mayor spoke about the testing during a city briefing. Mayor de blasio said the outbreak has been contained but five more buildings tested positive yesterday. The number of cases is 108. There hasnt been a new case in five days but the risk still remains in the bronx. Ilana gold has more from the melrose section of the bronx. Coming up in the next half hour. And two teenagers in custody suspected of shooting a Police Officer with a pellet gun outside of Gracie Mansion. The Police Officer is assigned to the mayors security detail. Janelle burrell has more this morning. Reporter the Police Officer has been treated and released from the hospital, expected make a full recovery, but the two teens, a 19yearold man and a 19yearold woman, in custody this morning. Police questioning them as they try to pinpoint who was responsible. Investigators say the officer was getting out of the passengers side of this black ford taurus when the pellet struck her in the back just yards from Gracie Mansion. The female officer, part of mayor de blasios advance team pulled up to the mayors residence on east end avenue ahead of his arrival when the incident happened around 7 15 sunday night.
