I ask because, WOW, the market for lateral associates particularly corporate transactions attorneys is absolutely absurd right now. In an effort to capture this sought-after talent, Biglaw firms are pulling out all the stops. Blackwood Man Pleads Guilty to Trying to Meet 13-Y/O Girl for Sex

Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina says 36-year-old Jason McCann pled guilty to third-degree Attempt to Commit Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Impairing or Debauching the Morals of a Child in exchange for a three-year sentence. McCann will also be placed on the New Jersey sex offender registry upon release and be subjected to parole supervision for life. Coffina s office says the investigation began last July after McCann used an instant messaging app to arrange a rendezvous and to send pictures of his genitals and videos of himself masturbating to someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl. In reality, the person he was communicating with was a Special Agent with United States Homeland Security Investigations.
