Firing the superintendent for failing to deliver would be a perfectly logical reaction to the district’s recent struggles. It would also be an egregious mistake. Creating a leadership vacuum as RPS confronts its most daunting challenges — repairing damage wrought by COVID-19 — will only set Richmond back.
