Jason Cumberland has been spared jail after the police raided his home in Rayleigh while his mother and father were present. The 49-year-old’s home-built computer was seized by police after they received evidence that it had been used to access indecent images of children. Cumberland, of Parklands Avenue, immediately accepted responsibility for the images during the raid on September 4, 2019. Cumberland was interviewed by police last year where he accepted the tower computer that was seized was his, but otherwise remained silent.
