The second of two sisters accused of assaulting another woman on Burlington Street has now been charged.
Online records show an arrest warrant was served on Tuesday on 22-year-old Jasmine Woodson of 18th Avenue in Coralville. Woodson’s sister, 20-year-old Lynia Woodson of South Dodge Street, was charged Saturday afternoon.
A passing Iowa City Transit bus driver reported seeing two women attacking another woman in the street at the corner of Burlington and Dodge Streets just before 10am on May 21st. The two were captured fleeing the scene on the bus’s security video. The bloodied victim got on the bus and took it to Mercy Hospital for treatment of her injuries.
