Fernley s Farm District Road path extension completed

Construction on the extension of a multi-use path on Farm District Road in Fernley was completed May 27, the Nevada Department of Transportation announced.
The new section of the 10-foot wide path on Farm District Road between Crimson Way and Jasmine Way is meant to enhance traffic mobility and safety for pedestrians, cyclists and schoolchildren traveling between residential areas, according to a press statement.
There will be minor finishing drainage work in the coming week, but pedestrians are able to use the path as that is finished.
