Hyderabad: Activists call for public meeting to raise awareness regarding ‘Save KBR’ campaign

HYDERABAD: Activists of Hyderabad are calling on other citizens to join them for a public meeting to be held at Kasu Brahmananda Reddy (KBR) National Park in Jubilee Hills at 9 AM on Sunday, December 20 to raise awareness regarding the #SaveKBR campaign. A notification that proposes to reduce the Eco-Sensitive Zone (ESZ) by constructing six flyovers around the park has been issued without a public hearing. This could lead to the destruction of more than 1000 trees and severely damage the water catchment and biodiversity.
