Police have arrested a 60-year-old man in connection with the rape of a teenager in Jashore s Jhikargachha upazila.
Accused Nur Islam Gazi (60), is a resident of Harergati village of the upazila, reports our Benapole correspondent quoting Inspector (Investigation) Mejbahuddin of the police facility.
The victim s father filed a case with the police station in this connection this morning.
According to the case statement, Nur Islam Ghazi lured the girl with chocolates and took her to a jackfruit orchard near his house and raped her there.
