Exactly were players fall when looking at the entire offensive line is quite difficult. With the top five players being the players who will likely be called the starters to begin offseason activities, their exact order is insignificant. The next two players are likely Joe Haeg and the newly drafted Kendrick Green. Both players should have ample opportunity to move into the starting lineup should they prove they are the best option. Additionally, J.C. Hassenauer and Rasheed Coward have starting experience and are likely the next two guys who could earn a spot.
Of the final five players on the list, Aviante Collins is the only one who has actually appeared in an NFL game although he is new to the Steelers. The other four players were all on the Steelers 2020 practice squad at some point.
Steelers sign Jones
The Steelers signed linebacker Jamir Jones.
Jones, the younger brother of outside linebacker Jarron Jones, was signed by the Houston Texans as a rookie free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft. He was later waived prior to the start of the regular season.
Jones played college football at Notre Dame where he appeared in 55 games during his four seasons. In 2019 he played in 11 games, finishing with 50 tackles, seven and a half for a loss, four and a half sacks. He also had two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
Shortly after he was signed by the Texans, his older brother shared how thrilled he was for him for landing in the NFL after switching positions.

If you asked the Steelers front office, the people that cover the team or their fans what position group is the most important this offseason I expect you would get the same answer from all of them. You might even get a few of the national sports media to agree. It’s the offensive line.
In 2020 the Steelers started the season rolling on offense. Even with Ben Roethlisberger showing a bit of rust and trying to build chemistry with his receivers on the fly, the Steelers were averaging 30 points a game with a top ten rushing attack. That all came crashing down, partly because teams figured out the patchwork scheme the Steelers had thrown together over an abbreviated offseason, but also because of injuries on the offensive line.
