A pair of Razorbacks placing in the Olympic Trials finals of their respective countries on Sunday included Kristoffer Hari of Denmark and Phillip Lemonious of Jamaica.
Hari placed second in the 100m at the Danish Championships with a career best time of 10.22 (0.9 wind). Hari’s previous best of 10.26 was set in 2019 when he also registered a wind-aided 10.08.
Denmark’s 4×100 relay has qualified for the Olympic Games.
Lemonious finished in fourth place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.22 (0.6 wind) at the Jamaican Trials after establishing a career best of 13.21 during the semifinal the previous evening. Dealing with cramps in his calves, Arkansas alum Omar McLeod hit the first pair of hurdles and finished in 16.22 seconds.
A career best time of 13.41 seconds placed Razorback Tre’Bien Gilbert fifth in his semifinal heat during Saturday’s action at the U.S. Olympic Trials at a very hot Hayward Field. In Kingston, Jamaica, Arkansas alum Omar McLeod and current Razorback Phillip Lemonious both reached Sunday’s final in the 110m hurdles.

Needing a mark after two fouls in the qualifying stage of the long jump at the U.S. Olympic Trials, Arkansas alum Jarrion Lawson delivered the leading jump of 26-7 ¾w (8.12) to advance to Sunday’s final at Hayward Field on Friday.
