Denial: A woman in Mount Pleasant township told deputies her boyfriend took a Xanax and stopped breathing while eating a piece of beef jerky, Thursday. The woman said when she realized her boyfriend wasn’t breathing she was able to dislodge the meat but he still wasn’t breathing and was turning blue. Ambulance crews used Narcan to resuscitate the man, who denied taking any illicit substances.
Arrested: Yohane Sabushimike, 18, 813 Day Ave., Roanoke, Va., was arrested for retaliation and criminal trespass, Thursday.
Arrested: Jason R. Bartley, 26, 1013 Third Ave., New Cumberland, was arrested for drug instruments, Friday.
Arrested: Jarrid Famal, 36, 225 Second St., New Philadelphia, was arrested for receiving stolen property, Friday.
