BERLIN (AP) Luka Doncic and Slovenia roared back from a 23-point deficit, and looked as if they were well on their way to a berth in the EuroBasket semifinals.
Poland built a massive 23-point lead in the first half Wednesday, then held on to shock Luka Doncic and Slovenia, 90-87, in the quarterfinals of the EuroBasket tournament.
Reprezentacja Polski koszykarzy pokonała w Berlinie w ćwierćfinale Słowenię, obrońcę tytułu 90:87 (29:26, 29:13, 6:24, 26:24) i awansowała do półfinału mistrzostw Europy. To pierwszy od 1971 roku awans biało-czerwonych do najlepszej czwórki.
