The Council of Arewa Chiefs in Lagos State on Monday demanded the immediate and unconditional release of the Sarkin Hausawa of Lagos and Chairman of the Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Aminu Idris Yaro, who was arrested alongside his wife by the Department of State Services (DSS). The group said the Sarkin Hausawa had been held by the DSS incommunicado for the last three days described it as an unlawful detention.
