Three soldiers were arrested by federal agents early Tuesday and accused of conspiring to buy firearms in Tennessee and illegally sell them in Chicago. The weapons were traced to at least one mass shooting and other crimes. Federal investigators say the weapons were linked back to an illegal firearms pipeline.
Demarcus Adams, 21, Jarius Brunson, 22, and Brandon Miller, 22, were arrested by agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division, acting U.S. Attorney Mary Jane Stewart for the Middle District of Tennessee said in a statement.

Chicago is a dangerous liberal-run city with recent crime statistics that show gun violence is out of control. One unlikely source of gun violence is three enlisted soldiers at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, who operated a gun smuggling operation into the metro area.
Demarcus Adams, 21; Jarius Brunson, 22; and Brandon Miller, 22, were arrested Tuesday by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command agents for pedaling dozens of firearms onto the streets of Chicago, including pistols recovered at a mass shooting, according to NBC Chicago.
The enlisted soldiers were charged with making false statements while purchasing dozens of firearms, transferring firearms to an out-of-state resident, wire fraud, money laundering, conspiracy, and selling guns without a license.

Demarcus Adams, 21; Jarius Brunson, 22; and Brandon Miller, 22, were charged with transferring a firearm to an out-of-state resident, making false statements while purchasing a firearm, money laundering, conspiracy, wire fraud and engaging in the business without a firearms license. They are all stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

As CBS 2’s Charlie De Mar reported, some of those weapons were linked to a recent mass shooting.
Demarcus Adams, 21; Jarius Brunson, 22; and Brandon Miller, 22, were charged Tuesday with conspiracy and other offenses by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Middle District of Tennessee.

Three U.S. Army soldiers have been charged with supplying guns used in recent shootings and murders in Chicago.
CHICAGO - Three U.S. Army soldiers are accused of supplying guns used in recent shootings and murders in Chicago.
Jarius Brunson, 22, Brandon Miller, 22, and Demarcus Adams, 21, were arrested Tuesday and charged in federal court.
All three soldiers were stationed at Fort Campbell along the Kentucky-Tennessee border.
The investigation into the three suspects began after a mass shooting on Chicago’s South Side on March 26, as police say five of the firearms involved in the shooting were purchased from gun dealers in Tennessee.
