Poetic Edda  is composed of 29 poems, contained in a famous manuscript known as the  Codex Regius  N. 2365 (which has for centuries been the property of the Copenhagen University). And the first two texts of the collection the  Völospá and the  Havamál are particularly relevant for the image of Odin as a god of  secret knowledge , and consequently master of the  art of poetry . Odin throws a spear at the Vanir host in the Norse Æsir-Vanir war of gods.
