Ricky Jared Kay, age 32, of Anacoco, was arrested and charged with one count of Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $ 7500.00. Kay remains in the VPSO jail.
Kevin Fox, age 38, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of Disturbing the peace ~ Intoxicated in public. Bond was set at $ 5891.00. Fox remains in the VPSO jail.

Matthew Vernon Coker, age 47, of Pitkin, was arrested on an outstanding Bench Warrant. Bond has not been set and Coker remains in the VPSO jail.

Milton resident named to Simmons dean’s list
Joanna Jones of Milton earned the 2020 fall semester dean’s list at Simmons University in Boston. To qualify, students must obtain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Local residents earn degrees from Western Governors
Western Governors University announced Jasmine Manley of Milton received a master of education degree in learning and technology. Helena Angelo of Milton received a bachelor of science degree in business concentrating in human resources management.
Local students named to Emerson dean s list
Emerson College announced Caitlin Hudecheck of Lewes and Kathryn Redefer of Rehoboth Beach were named to its dean s list for the fall 2020 semester. The requirement to make dean s list is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester. Hudecheck is a stage and production management major in the class of 2021. Redefer is a journalism major in the class of 2021.
