Majority leader harry reid triggered the Nuclear Option eliminating the use of phil busters to block president ial nominee appointments. The senate likes to call it the worlds greatest deliberative body. After the Nuclear Option was detonated, changing a 100yearold rule the chamber is in danger of a meltdown.
