“It portrays the real-life occurrences during the eviction of Tanbazar, where there was a queen. Alongside her was a girl who served as her assistant and bravely protested against the eviction, despite facing beatings, aiming to prevent the displacement of the girls from Tanbazar,” Mousumi mentioned confirming that she portrays the role of the courageous assistant in the film.
Asaduzzaman Noor, who is most known for his performances on television and stage, has lent his voice to renowned poet Abu Zafar Obaidullah’s “Kono Ek Make” for the film. The iconic poem was recorded in a studio in the capital on Saturday (March 23).
On a joyous note, actress Mousumi Hamid tied the knot with Abu Sayeed Rana today. The actress shared with The Daily Star that they exchanged vows this afternoon.
