The handheld unit of the console and Joy-Cons both come emblazoned with the familiar
Monster Hunter symbols and iconology. The dock is where the system really shines, however. It has the Magai Magado, the main monster from the upcoming game, printed on the front in a striking gold colour.
Alongside the special console, Nintendo has confirmed a limited edition
Monster Hunter Rise Pro Controller. Like the dock, the controller has the Magai Magado emblazoned in gold on the front. You can check out the gallery of both the console and controller below.
Both the console and controller will be available from March 26, 2021, the day the game releases. They will cost 38,400 yen (approx $370/£270) and 7,480 (approx $72/£52) yen respectively. So far, however, the console and controller have only been revealed by the Japanese Nintendo Twitter accounts. It’s unclear as of yet whether Nintendo plans to release the console in the West.
