팀 동료 선수 1명 밀접 접촉자로 격리돼

일본에서 훈련 중이던 미국 여자 체조 국가대표팀에서 코로나19 확진자가 나왔다.
은 20일(한국시각) “미국 여자 체조대표팀 카라 이커(19)가 일본에서 전지훈련을 하던 중 코로나19 확진 판정을 받았다”고 보도했다. 미국 선수단 중 감염자가 나온 첫 사례다. 카라 이커는 지난달 백신 접종을 마친 것으로 알려졌다.
미국 여자 체조 대표팀은 15일 일본에 입국해 사전 훈련을 진행해왔다. 이커는 18일, 매일 아침 실시하는 코로나 검사에서 양성 반응을 보였다. 이후 19일 오전 병원 검사에서 확진 판정을 받았다. 팀 내 동료 1명은 밀접 접촉자로 분류돼 격리됐다.
