Việt Nam-Japan friendship trees planted in Đà Nẵng

A tree planting event in marking the 50th anniversary of Việt Nam-Japan diplomatic ties (September 21, 1973 - 2023) was held by the central city’s Union of friendship organisations and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Đà Nẵng City (JCCID) in Đà Nẵng.

Việt Nam and Japan will mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties this year. Japan is the biggest official development assistance (ODA) provider with 2.9 trillion yen (about US$22 billion) between 1993-2022; and the third-biggest investor with an accumulated US$69 billion.
