ソニー・インタラクティブエンタテインメント（SIE）は、PS5/PS4用ソフト「Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut」（ゴースト・オブ・ツシマ ディレクターズ・カット）を、8月20日に国内発売すると発表した。価格はPS5用パッケージ版とダウンロード版ともに8690円（税込）、PS4用パッケージ版とダウンロード版ともに7590円（税込）。PS4「Ghost of Tsushima」を所有しているユーザーも、8月20日から本作のアップグレードを購入することで、「壹岐之譚」とその他のコンテンツを楽しむことが可能となっている。
