Recorded this event in november of 2017. We are fortunate to have an old friend with us, richard schroeder, a former officer with the cia clandestine service. He began his career under the cia in 1972. After two years in the army as an Intelligence Officer for the army stuff in washington, the u. S. Military command in vietnam. He consults on National Security and teaches that georgetown. He is a founding Advisory Board member here at the International Spy museum. He is the author of a new book, the foundation of the cia, harry truman, the missouri gang, and the origins of the cold war. You are not here to listen to me talk. Rick, come on up.
