On November 10, 2020, the Tallahassee City Commission approved a contract with Apalachee Center to pilot a TEAM that would consist of a licensed mental health professional, a Tallahassee Fire Department paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and a Crisis Intervention Team-trained police officer.
