LHDN, EPF counter service opens on appointment basis

KUALA LUMPUR: All tax service counters at branch offices, satellite centres and revenue service centres of the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) will operate by appointment basis only beginning today. In a statement, LHDN said counter operating hours would be from 8am to noon, subject to the working days in each state. Appointments can be made via e-Janji Temu at www.hasil.gov.my, it said yesterday. “IRB would like to advise customers who have appointments to always update their Covid-19 Risk Status on the MySejahtera app, and comply with standard operating procedures set by the government to curb the spread of Covid-19,” said the statement.

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will open its service counters at branch offices nationwide beginning Thursday (July 1), from 8.30am to 2.00pm on weekdays for selected services. The move is made to accommodate the needs of members who require its services, while simultaneously balancing the health and safety aspects of its personnel and members who are present at the branch offices. In a statement Wednesday (June 30), the pension fund said the selected services are withdrawals for age 50, 55 and 60, withdrawals for health reasons or death, as well as collection of payment order (PO) or banker s cheque. “Members are required to schedule their appointments through the Janji Temu Online (JTO) systeam at www.kwsp.gov.my/janjitemu, ” it said, adding that the EPF will contact the members to arrange for the PO and banker’s cheque collection for their withdrawals.
