News last year revealed that Alison Hammond and Dermot O Leary would be taking over from Eamonn and Ruth s regular Friday slot, but that the pair would still cover for Holly and Philip during key holidays.
However, viewers were left unimpressed on Monday when they tuned in to see Dermot and Alison presenting instead of Eamonn and Ruth.
