PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan yesterday led mourners in Dar es Salaam in bidding farewell to the entertainer and media stakeholder, Teddy Mapunda who passed away on Tuesday.
The event that took place at Karimjee Grounds close to the State House and was attended by retired president Jakaya Kikwete and the Regional Commissioner, Abubakar Kunenge.
Leading prayers in the requiem mass, Padre Joseph Matumaini from St Joseph Cathedral nearby said Teddy left a huge legacy in the society as she contributed a lot to people with disabilities as well as orphans.
