An apparently tearful opposition leader Lee Jae-myung cried foul Monday after prosecutors raided the headquarters of his Democratic Party of Korea (DPK) in a corruption investigation that is zeroing in on him after the arrest of one of his closest aides.
On the first day of the National Convention to select the new Democratic Party leadership, Rep. Lee Jae-myung won a landslide. As a result of voting by members of the Rights Party in Gangwon and Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province, they started to take a big lead with nearly 75% of the votes.
