He first displayed it in “Wild Mountain Thyme” as Anthony Reilly and is back at it again as the besotted henchman Edgar Paget in the Josh Greenbaum-helmed comedy film “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.” The movie tells the story of two midwestern, middle-aged best friends Barb and Star who opt to leave their small town of Small Rock, Nebraska for the first time to go on vacation to Vista Del Mar, Florida. Kristen Wiig portrays Star/Sharon Gordon Fisherman while Annie Mumolo is Barb Quicksilver.

Published March 7, 2021 12:42pm Los Angeles – Chloe Zhao, the soft-spoken and humble filmmaker from Beijing, China, made history at the recently held 78th Golden Globe Awards for being the first Asian female director to bag the Best Director – Motion Picture award for her movie “Nomadland.” The movie also won the Best Motion Picture Award for Drama. Apart from directing, Chloe also wrote and produced the said film. She also became only the second woman director to have won in the said category after Barbra Streisand won in 1983 for “Yentl.”

In recognition of the show’s philanthropic partnership with Feeding America, a select number of food bank workers were also selected to attend the 78th Golden Globe Awards show. Feeding America is the largest hunger-relief and food rescue organization in the United States, serving more than 40 million people through a network of 200 food banks and 60,000 food pantries and meal programs. Over the last year, Feeding America has helped provide food to millions of people who have experienced food insecurity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many for the first time. Throughout the telecast, viewers will be made aware of Feeding America’s COVID-19 response efforts.
