Good evening ladies and gentlemen as director of the library we have professor of history at the university of North Carolina nominated twice for the Pulitzer Prize in the author one of the great books about the civil war talking about the importance of religion of american politics leading up to the civil war with the decline of evangelical religions after the civil war with the post reconstruction era and jim crow. It is a great book that refrains for race and religion in america.
