Fact checking vaccine comments
As a medical laboratory professional who now teaches microbiology to nursing students, vaccines are a topic in which I have great interest and I have followed the creation of several vaccines to SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19. As a result, I found it interesting that some in high office in our government have been claiming that there was no vaccine and no vaccination plan when they came into office. Although I knew that the first vaccines were not even approved until the end of October and therefore could not have been distributed, I had to do some research to get details on what planning had been done.
